Job Opportunity: Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a skilled educator to support students with diverse learning needs.

At our school, we believe every child is unique and deserves a personalized approach to education. Our team of professionals works collaboratively to design and implement tailored learning plans that cater to each student's strengths and challenges.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with ICPs, ISPs, EAL/D programs, and enrichment pathways. This includes:

  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and leaders to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Supporting the development, monitoring, and compliance of ICPs, ISPs, and NCCD evidence
  • Assisting with EAL/D assessment and targeted learning programs
  • Contributing to enrichment and extension programs for gifted and talented learners
  • Building positive relationships with families, students, and staff to ensure every child feels seen and supported

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent qualification
  • Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration
  • Accreditation with Lutheran Education Australia
