Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate culinary professional to join our team as a chef. As a key member of the kitchen, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.


Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with senior chefs to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Demonstrate expertise in preparation and cooking techniques, ensuring dishes are prepared to perfection.
  • Maintain strict quality control throughout the food preparation process, from ingredients to presentation.
  • Contribute to a positive and dynamic kitchen environment by working effectively with colleagues and adhering to guidelines and direction.
  • Ensure adherence to established protocols for food safety and handling, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with food costing and control, and contribute to kitchen operations, including maintenance and service.
  • Demonstrate respect and understanding for Work Health & Safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Trade cooking qualifications are essential, and experience in commercial cookery is highly desirable.
  • A respectful and professional approach to work and collaboration with colleagues is paramount.
  • A passion for food and a desire to continually learn and develop skills are essential.
  • The ability to adapt to changing situations, show resilience, and maintain high standards under pressure is vital.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately are fundamental.
  • Care and competence in maintaining high standards, even under pressure, are expected.
  • Physical fitness is required to perform tasks such as heavy lifting, movement of goods, and prolonged standing.
  • An understanding of safe work practices and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment are mandatory.
