Role Overview

This role is an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at Care Squared and Care Squared Kids. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering education and support services to our customers and NDIS participants.

You will:

  • Develop and implement tailored education and support plans that focus on participant goal attainment.
  • Work collaboratively with other health professionals and stakeholders to provide comprehensive support services.
  • Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Fulfill administrative requirements, including record-keeping, billing, and invoicing.
  • Provide regular feedback to stakeholders regarding progress and develop relationships to strengthen partnerships.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Behaviour Support Practitioner registration or eligibility to become registered.
  • Experience working with individuals with a disability.
  • A passion for helping and assisting a diverse range of clients.
  • Evidence of completion of the NDIS mandatory orientation module.
  • High levels of verbal and written communication skills.
  • A satisfactory criminal record and working with children check (or state equivalent).
  • Working with vulnerable people check (or state equivalent).
  • A valid Australian Drivers License and access to own vehicle.
Desirable Criteria

We're looking for candidates with:

  • BCBA or Behaviour Technician registration.
  • Experience working in a clinical setting with individuals who have a disability.
  • A clear understanding of the NDIS framework, funding, services, support categories, and procedures.
