Job Description:

As a Team Leader, you will take on a key role in managing our Accommodation and Community East Metro Operations Team. This is a front-line management position where you will be responsible for setting and delivering customer plans, developing positive relationships with the people we support and those around them, coordinating staff rosters and schedules, coaching and mentoring staff, and developing partnerships within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working within the requirements of the Disability Service Standards, Safety, Quality and Safeguarding frameworks;
  • Ensuring high standards of quality control and compliance throughout all areas of Activ are adhered to;
  • Participating in after hours on call (based on a roster system);
  • Developing partnerships and networks within the community and internal stakeholders;
Required Skills and Qualifications:

You will need to have a minimum of two years demonstrated experience within a leadership role working with complex care requirements for people with disability and supporting customers with Behaviour Support Plans. A Certificate 4 in Disability Support, or a willingness to work towards one, is also essential. Additionally, you will require proven experience in leadership, supervision, development and support of a large team of staff.
