At St John of God Bendigo Hospital, we have an opportunity for a Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will work across a rotating roster including night shifts in our 12-bed unit providing a mix of Intensive Care, High Dependency, and Cardiac Care.
The Position involves assisting in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of a high standard of nursing care in consultation with the healthcare team, patient, and carers. This includes providing safe, holistic, and customer-focused patient care, ensuring nursing care is documented accurately and in a timely manner, and implementing medical treatment orders according to doctor’s instructions.
To succeed in this role, you must have registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and postgraduate qualifications in Critical Care Nursing. You should also possess a sound understanding of the Australian College of Intensive Care Nurses (ACCCN) Standards of Practice for Specialist Critical Care Nurses.
