As a Job Placement Consultant, you will be part of the Melbourne New Employment Services team who are passionate about supporting people with their return to health, work and life goals.

This role will service a caseload across our East & South East Melbourne region.

Job Description:

Work collaboratively with injured workers, potential employers and your internal team of allied health professionals to provide safe, sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce.

Contribute to injured workers ability to achieve return to work goals through job skills development, confidence building and promoting independence.

Apply customer service in employment services and job placement.

Empower clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment.

Broker new employment opportunities in the Melbourne Metropolitan area and surrounds.

Build strong relationships with local employers and organisations.

Complete written progress and various other reports on a regular basis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Occupational and/or Vocational Rehabilitation is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in Employment Services/Disability Employment as a high performer.
  • Strong resume writing skills with an understanding of local labour market.
  • A passion for assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers.
  • The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers.
  • Current driver's license and motor vehicle.
