Role Overview:

We are seeking a Part-time Kitchen Steward to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all food and beverage outlets.

This includes equipment maintenance, set food preparation duties, and ensuring storage areas are organized and properly stored.

">Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate dishwashing machinery to wash and sanitize crockery and kitchen implements.
  • Maintain food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators, ensuring everything is organized and properly stored.
  • Assist with receiving and storing goods.
  • Report workplace hazards to relevant personnel.
  • Assist chef and kitchen team in basic food preparation, including cutting, peeling, and washing ingredients.
  • Evaluate and ensure hygiene and safety standards are met.
Requirements:
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with the kitchen team.
  • Excellent attitude and 'can do' mindset.
  • Ability to follow instructions and take initiative when required.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Must have working rights for Australia.
