- Inspect and select ingredients for cooking, measuring, cleaning, chopping, blending, seasoning, heating, and cooling food.
- Monitor food cooking processes to ensure proper cooking and presentation.
- Coordinate, supervise, and collaborate with kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of food supplies and equipment.
- Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a cook.
- High level of quality and ability to understand amount required.
- High level of knife skills and knowledge of which knife to use and when.
- Knowledge of cooking methods and when to apply.
- Ability to read, train, and replicate all dishes.
