**Key Responsibilities:

  • To attend incidents and emergencies, responding to fires, rescues, and other emergency situations
  • To operate firefighting and rescue equipment, ensuring safe and effective operations
  • To participate in ongoing skills acquisition and maintenance programs, including first aid and emergency care
  • To contribute to the upkeep and hygiene of station facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment

**Requirements:

  • Eligible to apply for or hold a current Blue Card
  • Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable)
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status
  • Manual C-Class driver's license

**Selection Criteria:** To determine your suitability for this role, you will be assessed on the following Leadership Competencies for Queensland behavioural profiles: Vision, Results, Accountability, and shared values of Respect, Integrity, Trust, Courage, and Loyalty.

**Salary:** $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
