**Job Title:** Firefighting Emergency Services Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Firefighting Emergency Services Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, where you will be responsible for providing emergency services to the community.
**About Us:** Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) is a leading provider of fire, rescue, emergency, and disaster management services across Queensland. We are committed to delivering high-quality services that ensure the safety of people and property.
**Key Responsibilities:
- To attend incidents and emergencies, responding to fires, rescues, and other emergency situations
- To operate firefighting and rescue equipment, ensuring safe and effective operations
- To participate in ongoing skills acquisition and maintenance programs, including first aid and emergency care
- To contribute to the upkeep and hygiene of station facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment
**Requirements:
- Eligible to apply for or hold a current Blue Card
- Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable)
- Australian Permanent Resident Status
- Manual C-Class driver's license
**Selection Criteria:** To determine your suitability for this role, you will be assessed on the following Leadership Competencies for Queensland behavioural profiles: Vision, Results, Accountability, and shared values of Respect, Integrity, Trust, Courage, and Loyalty.
**Salary:** $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
