About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide domestic assistance to older people in their homes.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities such as cleaning, laundry, and personal care.
  • Prepare meals and assist with shopping to ensure access to nutritious food.
  • Offer social support and encourage participation in lifestyle activities to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Provide respite and emotional support to carers and family members.
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide complex care for those with high needs.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Cares deeply about the well-being of older people and is committed to providing excellent care.
  • Has a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle for travel.
  • Is able to remain calm under pressure and not take things personally.
  • Is available to work at least three days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend shifts.
  • Is comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems.
