Job Title: Senior Asset Integrity Engineer

At Brunel, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Asset Integrity Engineer to join our team in Papua New Guinea. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for implementing asset integrity and inspection strategies for critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Temporary Repair registers and ensure plans are in place for permanent repairs
  • Develop Risk-Based Inspection Strategies
  • Develop repair scopes for pressure vessels and provide guidance to other engineers
  • Develop integrity management and inspection strategies for pressure systems, pipelines, and tanks
  • Review, assess, and update integrity management and inspection data
  • Provide technical advice to inspectors and engineers
  • Organize and conduct Fitness for Service assessments
  • Ensure actions arising from inspection activities are reported and communicated
  • Perform review of inspection data, results trending, and remnant life assessments
Requirements:
  • Degree in engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 years' experience in asset integrity management, preferably in the mining space
  • Strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
  • Experience in risk assessments and asset integrity management plans
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as required
