Job Title: Health and Safety Specialist

Our company is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. This role will involve ensuring that all aspects of health and safety are managed effectively, including risk assessments, compliance with relevant legislation, and training of staff.

This position requires a high level of expertise in health and safety management, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, as well as experience in conducting audits and investigations.

Responsibilities:
  • To develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures;
  • To conduct regular risk assessments and ensure that all necessary controls are in place;
  • To provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety matters;
  • To investigate incidents and accidents, and make recommendations for improvement;
  • To maintain accurate records and reports related to health and safety;
Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g. health and safety, business, etc.);
  • Extensive experience in health and safety management;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
