About the RoleThis is a highly rewarding position with a rapidly growing Australian company that specialises in flood and fire restoration services. As a Restoration Technician, you will be part of a team working together to help those in need across the North Coast / Central Coast region.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out restoration works at properties throughout Brisbane areas and surrounding regions.
- Utilise job management and reporting software for efficient task completion.
- Remove and discard non-salvageable building materials and contents contaminated by flood, mould, sewage, fire, and other hazards.
- Restore and sanitise building materials and contents deemed restorable.
- Install and monitor restoration equipment.
- Maintain company facilities, equipment, and vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Previous experience in restoration is essential, with at least 1 year in this field.
- Exceptional attention to detail skills are required to ensure high-quality work.
- A strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously are necessary for success in this role.
- Trade skills or prior handyman experience is desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy objects on occasion is required.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and after-hours as needed.
- Australian Driver's Licence & Construction White Card are mandatory.
- A Police check (or ability to obtain one) is also required.
