Job Overview

This role is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a community-facing position. As the key link between Breakthru and the local community, you will be responsible for guiding customers through service access, identifying employment opportunities, and developing relationships that lead to real, lasting employment outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in employment services, recruitment, or community engagement, with strong local networks and relationship-building skills. Excellent communication and adaptability across diverse audiences are also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expand community and employer networks to increase referrals and support diversity initiatives within employers.
  • Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
  • Develop and manage strategic employer and industry partnerships.
  • Promote Breakthru as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.
  • Analyse labour market trends to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
  • Support the local leadership team to coach teams to strengthen employer engagement and improve client career outcomes.
  • Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
  • Champion Breakthru's values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.

Essential Criteria
  • Experience in employment services, recruitment, or community engagement
  • Strong local networks and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and adaptability across diverse audiences
  • Solid admin skills and familiarity with CRM/ESS systems
  • Passion for inclusion and empowering others through employment
  • Current Driver's License - essential
