Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to join our team in a Before and After School Care setting. As an Outside School Hours Care Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in the daily program, providing a safe and engaging learning environment for children.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of activities, playing with children, taking them outside for outdoor experiences, and serving healthy snacks. You will work closely with a dedicated Service Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of the service.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in delivering the daily program, including planning and implementing activities
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
  • Form strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • A Certificate III or higher in Children's Services or equivalent qualification
  • A current Employee Working with Children's Check
  • HLTAID012 or higher First Aid, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training
  • Child Protection knowledge and skills
