About Us
As a Registered Nurse in our Public Surgical Ward, you will work with specialties such as Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery, Urology, Upper Gastrointestinal, General surgery, Plastic Surgery, Vascular surgery and Breast and Endocrine Surgery.
We support ongoing professional development for all staff through our education department and have clinical nurse educators on the ward.
You will require:
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant nursing authority
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Surgical Unit
- Demonstrated computer literacy with email and electronic patient record systems
- Previous experience within a hospital setting is well regarded
- A commitment to delivering quality patient-centred care
- The ability to manage shift work, including day and night shifts over 7 days
