About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Secure Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit in Townsville.
The Opportunity
This permanent full-time position offers a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist to work with consumers who require secure mental health rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy assessment, treatment, and interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team on an individual and group basis.
- Maintain positive, collaborative, and productive relationships with the wider mental health service group and external agencies.
- Demonstrate responsiveness to the needs and aspirations of consumers/carers, with particular emphasis on culture appropriateness of care provided.
What's On Offer?
A competitive remuneration package of up to $132,567 p.a., comprising base salary range of $79,051 - $116,189 p.a. (+ applicable allowances/benefits), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).
In addition to your salary, you may be eligible for incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme.
Requirements
The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Occupational Therapist Board of Australia (AHPRA).
