Reporting into a Senior Planner, you will provide leadership and guidance to a planning assistant to ensure overall achievement of KPIs and continued professional growth and development.

You will oversee the planning function within a category, including developing category and product level sales, GP, and inventory plans. This will involve working closely with Buyers and Planners to develop commercial frameworks that bring strategies to life and achieve set financial outcomes.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop pre-season strategy and budget setting and in-season re-forecasting
  • Partner with Buyers to develop product assortment with a focus on customer-centric ranging with high in-stock availability
  • Plan delivery and product phasing to ensure entry and exits are executed with space, inventory, realistic sell-down plans, and GP maximization considerations
  • Manage OTB, including maintaining an accurate financial WSSI and quantifying monthly core replenishment at product level
  • Drive enhanced reporting and analysis with a focus on attribute-level learnings and actions

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive planning experience in a retail environment
  • Strong business acumen supported by advanced system, forecasting, analytical, and reporting skills in Excel
  • An inquisitive nature with a natural ability to identify anomalies
  • A solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to lead a planning team and work alongside buying teams with a collaborative open approach

Salary: AU$85,000 - AU$110,000 per annum
