
Facilities Maintenance Engineer

The primary responsibility of this position involves maintaining and repairing site plant, equipment and facilities and implementing effective preventative maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Engineer, maintain and repair all site plant, equipment and facilities.
- Implement and ensure effectiveness of preventative maintenance programs.
- Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine faults.
- Coordinate and carry out comprehensive servicing of milling equipment and machinery.
- Participate in planning and execution of engineering projects.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety legislation, regulations and company standards.
- Work flexibly as part of a team, adapting role and duties to operational requirements.
- Actively cooperate with personnel to promote efficient and friendly working environment.
- A minimum trade qualification in engineering (Certificate III Electromechanical).
- Expertise in predictive and preventative engineering programs and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with fault finding and repair of industrial machinery.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations and standards.
- Experience with PLC programming (advantageous).
- Previous experience in food production environments (advantageous).
- Proficient with diagnostic equipment and maintenance tools.
- Current Driver's License, Forklift, Elevated Work Platform (EWP) and confined space accreditation (advantageous).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
