Job Title: ElectricianAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced electrician to join our team in a leading flour milling operation. This critical role will focus on ensuring all plant and machinery operates at peak performance through proactive maintenance and expert fault diagnosis.

The primary responsibility of this position involves maintaining and repairing site plant, equipment and facilities and implementing effective preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engineer, maintain and repair all site plant, equipment and facilities.
  • Implement and ensure effectiveness of preventative maintenance programs.
  • Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine faults.
  • Coordinate and carry out comprehensive servicing of milling equipment and machinery.
  • Participate in planning and execution of engineering projects.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety legislation, regulations and company standards.
  • Work flexibly as part of a team, adapting role and duties to operational requirements.
  • Actively cooperate with personnel to promote efficient and friendly working environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A minimum trade qualification in engineering (Certificate III Electromechanical).
  • Expertise in predictive and preventative engineering programs and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with fault finding and repair of industrial machinery.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations and standards.
  • Experience with PLC programming (advantageous).
  • Previous experience in food production environments (advantageous).
  • Proficient with diagnostic equipment and maintenance tools.
  • Current Driver's License, Forklift, Elevated Work Platform (EWP) and confined space accreditation (advantageous).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
