Classroom Teacher Role

We are seeking a skilled and innovative educator to join our school as a Classroom Teacher.

The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic and caring professional community, fostering the holistic development of students in a Catholic educational context.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • a commitment to evidence-based best practices with experience in explicit and direct instruction approaches.
  • an understanding of Structured Literacy.
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment.
  • the ability to use student assessment information to inform whole-class and targeted small group instruction.
  • the capacity to promote student wellbeing and engagement.
  • the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • a firm commitment to Catholic education.
  • familiarity with child-safe policies and codes of conduct.

Special Requirements

  • accreditation to teach in a Catholic school or willingness to obtain accreditation.
  • current VIT registration or eligibility for graduates.
