Australia and New Zealand Cloud Solutions Strategist

As a seasoned technical manager, you have the unique opportunity to lead a team focused on driving innovation in cloud-based solutions. With your business acumen and technical expertise, you will help shape the future of Amazon Web Services within the Australia and New Zealand market.
You will develop a high-performing team by enabling and coaching them on best practices, solution selling, presentation and speaking skills, as well as how to create and present value-driven architectures of varying size and complexity.
In collaboration with sales teams, you will drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers. You will focus on providing thought leadership and driving value creation for our clients.
Your responsibilities will include shaping technical solutions, growing the team, and leading customer engagement and interaction at the Director and VP level. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to own, define, develop, and execute a customer-outcome plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the Solutions Architecture team.
- Develop long-term relationships with key accounts.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Hire, onboard, train, and develop new Solution Architects from internal and external sources.
- Build and coach the team on skills needed for training sessions.
- Educate public sector customers on AWS value proposition, and participate in architectural discussions.
- Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, data sheets, and other customer-facing guidance.
- Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.
