Job Title

This is a senior role in project management that involves planning and delivering strategic projects to increase economic growth, employment, investment, government infrastructure, and services.

About the Role
  • Increase awareness of Mandurah as an attractive investment location.
  • Facilitate the delivery of economic development strategies through designated projects, programs, research, analysis, creative ideas, and liaison with government and businesses.
  • Lead and support projects and programs to improve skill development, higher education, and employment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Target key sectors identified through research and endorsed plans.
  • Develop strategies, business cases, and strategic plans to develop those sectors.
  • Liaise with public and private sector partners to ensure coordination of activities.
  • Implement initiatives developed under the Community Strategic Plan and Departmental business plans.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree/qualification.
  • Unrestricted C class national driver's license.
  • Demonstrated professional experience of at least 3 years in economic or business development, private investment attraction, and implementation of strategic initiatives.
