Real Estate Debt Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Real Estate Debt Analyst to join our team. As an analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of debt investments and ensuring effective ongoing asset management.


This permanent, full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across the business while developing your expertise in credit analysis, real estate investment, and debt structuring.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum 12-18 months of experience in finance, funds management, or a related field and possess strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability.


You will contribute to the full investment lifecycle — from due diligence and structuring through to settlement, monitoring, and investor reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about real assets, private credit, or real estate investments and are looking to accelerate their career in a role that combines analysis, execution, and stakeholder engagement.


Responsibilities
  • Undertake due diligence on real estate investment and development projects and perform cash flow/feasibility modelling and analysis.
  • Prepare term sheets for prospective clients and draft internal investment committee papers.
  • Presentation and review of information memorandums for financiers and investors.
  • Manage conditions precedent (CPs) and the settlement process to achieve financial close.
  • Oversee day-to-day borrower requirements where applicable and manage existing investments.
  • Actively participate in internal and external meetings, contributing ideas and solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification in finance, business, commerce, or similar; CFA/CA/CPA is a bonus.
  • Some experience in credit analysis, debt structuring, or real estate valuations.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
