About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Lead to join our team at Sugar Australia. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in leading our sustainability strategy and driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute our sustainability strategy, 'For the Next Generation'
  • Lead internal sustainability teams to guide and support all functions in executing our strategy
  • Manage stakeholder sustainability communication, both internal and external
  • Refine our sustainability strategy on an ongoing basis
  • Support the development of plans to reduce our operational footprint
  • Develop and lead governance and reporting frameworks to measure and communicate impacts effectively
  • Provide guidance and thought leadership on emerging and existing material sustainability topics
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in sustainability-related areas
  • Degree qualified in an appropriate field
  • Solutions focus, creative thinking, and a positive disposition
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
