Job Title: Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of large mining hydraulic excavators and be able to provide technical advice on hydraulics and mechanical components.

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and executing shutdowns, working with the Service Department to ensure seamless operations. They will also be required to proactively seek improvement opportunities and resolve queries promptly.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide holistic technical advice on hydraulics and mechanical components for Hitachi's Large Mining Excavator range
  • Plan and execute shutdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  • Work closely with the Service Department to ensure seamless operations
  • Proactively seek improvement opportunities and resolve queries promptly
  • Manage documentation related to machine performance, customer products, workmanship, warranty, and diagnostics
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering, HV Electrician trade, or related heavy diesel qualifications
  • Previous mine site experience is highly regarded
  • Strong communication and self-organization skills
