General Practice Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced General Practice Nurse to join our team in a rewarding and challenging role.

  • The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers with patient assessments, examinations, and treatments.
  • Administering vaccinations and medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Performing clinical procedures such as wound care, ear syringing, and venipuncture.
  • Conducting health screenings and assessments, including chronic disease management and preventive care.
  • Providing patient education and counselling on various health topics, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and disease prevention.
Requirements
  • Enrolled/Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Previous experience working as a General Practice Nurse or in a primary care setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
