Job Title: Physiotherapy Specialist

This position offers a unique opportunity to provide culturally appropriate therapy services in the Northern Territory. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team working with Aboriginal clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide contemporary physiotherapy services, including assessment, treatment, and evaluation for individuals with various conditions.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support client care and developmental needs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and external service providers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery outcomes.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in physiotherapy.
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with adult clients.
  • Knowledge of varied physiotherapy methods of assessment, treatment, and evaluation.
  • High-level communication and time management skills.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Personal resilience and flexibility.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience working in an Aboriginal Medical Service.
  • Multi-disciplinary team experience.
Benefits
  • 6 weeks annual leave (pro rata).
  • Salary packaging up to $15,990 per annum.
