**Central Australian Aboriginal Congress - A Leader in Indigenous Health Services

We are seeking an experienced Aboriginal Family Support Worker to join our team, providing vital support services to children and their families in the Alice Springs region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing cultural brokerage, liaison, advocacy, and support to clients
  • Coordinating and facilitating child and family appointments and follow-ups
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure effective case management

This is a full-time, max-term contract opportunity offering a competitive salary package and opportunities for professional development.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Identification as an Aboriginal person recognised by the Aboriginal community
  • Excellent communication skills, including fluency in one or more local Aboriginal languages
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, including mentoring and training of colleagues
  • Proven experience in supporting Aboriginal children and families
  • A current driver's license

In this role, you will work closely with our Child and Youth Assessment & Therapeutic Team to provide critical support services to vulnerable members of our community.
