Volunteer Retail Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and driven individual to join our team as a Volunteer Retail Assistant. As a key member of our retail operation, you will play a vital role in supporting our store operations and contributing to the success of our mission.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will have the chance to gain valuable skills and experience while being part of a dedicated team that shares your values.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers with a warm and welcoming attitude to create a positive shopping experience.
  • Providing clear and helpful information to customers, answering their questions and guiding them as needed.
  • Supporting our Donor Care program by assisting with receiving donated goods and ensuring proper handling and communication with donors.
  • Processing donated goods according to production guidelines to ensure quality and usability, and accurately pricing items for sale both in-store and online.
  • Stocking and displaying products in a neat and organized manner to enhance store appearance.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers, visitors, and staff by consistently adhering to safe work practices and guidelines.
