Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Go Ahead Group in Tamworth. This is a 12-month contract opportunity to provide crucial administrative assistance to our parts and service teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support by preparing statistical reports and handling routine to complex information requests.
- Gather, compile, verify, and accurately enter information into reports, presentations, forms, databases, or spreadsheets.
- Respond to or redirect inquiries from internal or external sources regarding the organization, its activities, or processes, ensuring prompt and accurate communication.
- Prepare documentation for payments to vendors, suppliers, and other third parties; manage payment requests in the accounting system and address inquiries from accounts payable and payees.
- Document and maintain departmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in departmental business improvement projects and assignments as required.
- Perform additional routine to complex administrative tasks according to established organizational procedures and act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite.
