**Cruise Vessel Officer Position**
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Cruise Vessel Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Vessel Master in managing daily vessel operations.
Your primary objective will be to ensure outstanding crew performance and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
To achieve this, you will be required to demonstrate strong leadership skills, provide clear guidance, and foster a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Vessel Master with administrative tasks and safety duties
- E nsure guest safety, satisfaction, and optimal vessel and engine performance
- Support watch-keeping, vessel handling, and navigation
- Conduct regular onboard safety drills and crew training
- Manage Deck Crew performance and training compliance
- You possess excellent people management skills, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback while fostering team morale.
- Minimum Master 24, with MED 3 or Coxswain Grade 1 (mandatory)
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (mandatory)
- HLTAID015 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Apply Oxygen Resuscitation (mandatory)
- QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol (mandatory)
- QLD Working with Children's Check (Blue Card) (mandatory)
