Rehabilitation Specialist

Job Description:

The role of a rehabilitation specialist involves providing high-quality care to patients with various medical conditions, including stroke, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, and more. This position requires a strong understanding of rehabilitation principles and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include managing patient cases, participating in hospital activities, communicating with patients and their families, and working independently to provide exceptional patient care. Additionally, this role offers opportunities for professional growth and development, including participation in research modules and teaching programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Medical degree and current registration with AHPRA
  • Postgraduate clinical experience, preferably with at least 2 years
  • Demonstrated relevant clinical practice at a high standard
  • Clinical experience in the management of various medical conditions, including orthopedic, neurological, and medical conditions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
