About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Partner Solutions Architect to join our team at Databricks. As a key member of our organization, you will work closely with our Consulting and System Integrator (C&SI) partners, teammates, and customers to develop and implement technical solutions that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our C&SI partners, providing technical enablement and support to help them deliver successful projects to their clients.
- Collaborate with our technical and sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Design and implement technical solutions that meet the needs of our customers, leveraging our Databricks Lakehouse Platform and other open-source technologies.
- Develop and deliver training and enablement programs for our partners and customers, to help them get the most out of our platform.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within our organization.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, working with external clients or partners across a variety of industry markets.
- Core strength in either data engineering or data science, with a strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms and architectures.
- Experience developing and delivering technical training and enablement programs, and a strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Scala, or Java, and a strong understanding of data engineering technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
- Expertise in at least one of the following areas: data warehousing, data science and machine learning, or cloud-based data platforms.
