We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in a full-time role. The ideal candidate will work effectively with the payroll team to prepare and process high-quality, accurate payrolls while delivering exceptional customer service.

This position involves developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing legislation, policies, regulations, and guidelines related to payroll. The successful candidate will contribute to strategic goal development and alignment, performing various payroll functions, and assisting with projects under the supervision of the team leader.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in payroll or a related field, or a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products and Chris 21, iChris, or similar payroll software
  • High-level written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proven analytical skills for complex payroll calculations, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, allowing them to work independently within a flexible team environment and provide proactive support.
