About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Crop Science Specialist to join our Agri-Innovation team in Australia and New Zealand. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for driving research and development projects that enhance crop yields, improve agricultural practices, and contribute to sustainable food systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, plant physiology, or crop science, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in designing and executing field research projects. You should possess excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute field research projects to improve crop yields, quality, and sustainability;
  • Develop and implement statistical experimental designs to analyze data and inform decision-making;
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify research priorities and develop effective solutions;
  • Communicate research findings and results to both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on research progress and outcomes;
Requirements
  • PhD in Agriculture, Plant Physiology, or Crop Science, or equivalent experience;
  • At least 5 years' experience in designing and executing field research projects in agriculture;
  • Excellent communication and project management skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
