The position of General Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Club. Reporting directly to the Board, the successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring the delivery of excellent service to members and guests while supporting the Club's long-term strategic goals.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of Club operations, staff, and events.
  • Provide strategic advice and support to the Board.
  • Ensure compliance with financial, legal, safety, and governance standards.
  • Manage budgeting and financial reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Engage proactively with members, guests, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal government bodies.
  • Drive continual improvement across Club facilities, services, and member experiences.

We are seeking a hands-on, values-driven leader with strong business acumen and a passion for golf and community sport. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a golf club or similar community or sporting organisation, proven leadership and staff management skills, and a proactive solutions-focused mindset.

About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Sports Management or PGA of Australia Club Management (desirable but not essential).
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Working with Children Check.
