Job Opportunity

We are seeking skilled Fitters to join our team.

Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.

  • Workshop repairs and maintenance
  • New machine pre delivery preparation and inspection
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Safety / Quality
  • Cross functional support

Fault finding, repairs and services including but not limited to:

  • Diesel and petrol engines
  • Diesel, petrol and LPG fuel systems
  • Steering systems
  • Transmissions – hydrostatic, powershift and manual
  • Brake systems
  • Hydraulic valves and cylinders
  • Electrical starting, charging and accessories
  • Service and diagnostic repairs

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal relationship and customer focused
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Warm Personality and open minded
  • Self-motivated
  • Good technical background experience
  • Hard worker, practical personality
  • Solid analysing and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical problems
  • Good Team spirit, experience working in a small team is an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on diesel equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults in diesel and petrol engines, fuel systems, steering systems, transmissions, brake systems, hydraulic valves and cylinders, electrical starting, charging and accessories
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a safe working environment
  • Work effectively as part of a small team

Requirements:

  • Technical qualification or relevant work experience in the field of fitter mechanics
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
