At the heart of our Specialist Orthopaedic Practice, we are seeking a Medical Administrative Professional to provide exceptional patient care and support.

This full-time role involves working 38 hours per week, with a 5-day work-week and no weekends. Shifts fall within the hours of 8.00am - 6.00pm, with some flexibility available.

Responsibilities:

  • Front Office Reception
  • Patient Bookings Including Reminders
  • Ensuring Patient Records Up to Date
  • Adhere to Privacy and Confidentiality
  • Recalls
  • Referral Tracking
  • Medical Typing
  • Invoicing of Consultations, Reports, and Third-Party Documents
  • Communication with WorkCover and other Third Parties
  • Communication with Specialists, Patients, Hospital Staff, and Referring Doctors
  • Scanning, Mail, and other Office Duties (Mail-Box on site)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year Medical Reception Experience Preferred or Certificate III Medical Administration
  • Have an understanding of Department of Health, Medicare, and WorkCover processes.
  • Ideally, Specialist Experience, however, Hospital, GP, or Radiology will also be transferable.
