Position Overview:

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our processing facilities. Reporting directly to the Electrical Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of plant equipment.
  • Utilize your expertise to troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures while maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Document maintenance activities and updates in the company’s CMMS.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a WA Electrical Licence and Certificate IV in Instrumentation.
  • Demonstrated experience in instrumentation maintenance within a mineral processing environment.
  • HV switching certification with practical experience in High Voltage operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong understanding of process technologies and related equipment.
  • Valid WA Driver’s Licence.

Work Schedule:

This position operates on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, including a rotating night shift. The role is Fly in Fly out from Perth.
