About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager-Consulting to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading client advisory, technology selection, and solutioning efforts, as well as driving complex transformation engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement strategic technology solutions to meet client business needs.
  • Provide advisory consulting to business and technology client leaders in areas such as asset teams, enterprise architecture, IT convergence, product management, and platform architecture.
  • Act as a trusted advisor in technology-led transformation, from strategic vision to solution delivery.
  • Work with clients to build technology and architecture artefacts, such as technology heat maps, to provide senior executive insight and understanding.
  • Support account executives in shaping large deals and presenting solutions to clients.
  • Coach and mentor junior consultants to improve their technology consulting capability.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience in technology services, with a strong focus on solution design.
  • Strong track record of leading client advisory, technology selection, and solutioning efforts, as well as hands-on experience in leading complex transformation engagements.
  • Experience in enterprise architecture, including creating architecture roadmaps, and integration architecture, with a focus on forward-looking technology visions.
  • Extensive experience working with digital and cloud-based technologies, microservices, APIs, and familiarity with Agile/DevOps principles.
  • Extensive onsite and client-facing experience, preferably across multiple domains.
  • Experience building executive relationships to drive successful outcomes, identify new consulting opportunities, and position/pitch for additional consulting work with clients.
  • Past experience with cloud platforms and key CRM/eCommerce software (Salesforce or SAP) is highly regarded.

  • Create user and training documentation and conduct formal training classes.
  • Develop functional specifications for use by system developers.
  • Use data and process modeling techniques to create clear system specifications for system software design and development.
  • Act as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in system project decision-making.
