Job Description

As a Regional Sales Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting and selling Dentsply Sirona consumable products within a specific geographical territory. Your primary objective will be to increase market share and penetration while maintaining favorable client relations.

Primary Objectives

You will be responsible for delivering/exceeding sales and growth targets for assigned territory in accordance with the regional sales plan and national product strategies through sales activity and product/client knowledge.

Specific Accountabilities
  1. Develop, manage, and implement the annual Territory Sales plan to ensure achievement of agreed sales targets and broader total business objectives.
  2. Undertake ongoing strategic market analysis to ensure responsiveness to changes, market trends, and competitor activities.
  3. Support the Sales Manager in the development of long-term Strategic Plans.
Sales Plan Implementation
  1. Build relationships with both external and internal clients to capitalize on all business opportunities.
  2. Identify key decision-makers and opinion leaders and work with your colleagues to ensure development of strong business relationships.
  3. Understand and communicate the needs and expectations of the client to internal stakeholders to ensure that we meet and exceed client expectations.
  4. Act as the direct client contact to address and resolve client concerns in conjunction with relevant company associates.
  5. Work with the Sales Manager to develop and execute a regional Clinical Education plan – maximizing use of self, external KOL's or company technical demonstrators.
Reporting & Analysis
  1. Measure success of sales strategies and activities conducted within the territory and modify where necessary to optimize mutual client and company outcomes.
  2. Record all sales activities within relevant CRM software on a daily basis.
  3. Undertake monthly analysis of sales and implement action to ensure achievement within agreed parameters.
  4. Ensure sales analysis and segment performance is reviewed on a monthly basis for provision of portfolio monthly report.
  5. Establish systems and processed to enable efficient handling of functional workload and activities.
Knowledge
  1. Ensure ongoing currency of functional and technical knowledge via self-directed learning and proactive involvement in training and personal research.

Teamwork
  1. Work as part of a team, providing backup and support and sharing responsibility for completion of tasks as required.
  2. Work closely with the Sales Manager and other team members to identify and leverage opportunities to expand Dentsply Sirona business and drive related objectives.
Health and Safety
  1. Adhere to all health and safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  2. Proactively identify and report safety and health risks to ensure continuous improvement of occupational health and safety practices.
  3. Wear all personal protective equipment as required.
  4. Maintain awareness and understanding of internal safety procedures and adhere to these at all times.
  5. Proactively report and manage safety issues.
