About the Opportunity
This role is an exciting opportunity to join the People & Culture team at Metcash. As a Performance & Reward Advisor, you will assist in delivering performance and reward initiatives and processes, ensuring policies and practices align with the company's objectives.
In this Role
• Assist in the delivery of annual performance management and cyclical remuneration review processes.
• Consult with key stakeholders across the business and People & Culture team to identify, develop, and implement policy and process improvements.
• Undertake job evaluations and job levelling as requested.
• Provide guidance for the People & Culture team and leaders across the business on performance and reward matters, including remuneration recommendations.
• Administer assistance on our incentive plans, including short-term incentive accrual model, long-term incentive offers, and the tracking of equity grants.
• Prepare and submit salary survey data submissions, incorporating multiple market survey providers.
• Liaise with external providers to maintain a compelling suite of employee benefits and ensure effective communications of these across Metcash.
• Conduct data analysis and research on performance and reward projects and initiatives, as appropriate.
You're Likely a Match If
• Tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) in Business, Finance, or Human Resources.
• 1-2 years' experience working within a People & Culture / HR team, or within a remuneration function.
• Understanding of remuneration components (salary, allowances, Superannuation Guarantee, salary sacrifice superannuation, motor vehicles, incentive payments, FBT, etc.).
• Excellent spreadsheet, data analysis, and data presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and numeracy capabilities.
• Confidence with numbers and working with large volumes of confidential data.
• Job evaluation trained (Hay methodology) is highly regarded, but not essential.
