Job Description Summary

The Regional Oncology Specialist role will partner with our customers - oncologists, nurses, interventional radiologists, pharmacists and other healthcare providers within the clinical environment to provide access to BD’s suite of oncology solutions to minimize the healthcare workers risk of drug exposure, the patient’s risk of infection and support better patient outcomes during the oncology journey. The role develops and maintains key customer relationships within a designated sales territory, understands relevant unmet customer needs in the area of oncology and implements BD product solutions that will result in positive outcomes for both patients and healthcare providers.

- Customer-Centric Approach_: The Regional Oncology Specialist focuses on understanding the needs of the customer and their cancer patients and strives to ensure that they have access to the full BD suite of products and support services.
- Value-Add Services_: The Regional Oncology Specialist is committed to providing comprehensive clinical education to healthcare professionals, keeping them updated on the latest advancements in BD oncology solutions and identifying where the ability to provide audit services to customers will enable customers to benchmark against best practice to assist with improved clinical outcomes
- Building Strong Relationships_: The Regional Oncology Specialist can establish strong and collaborative relationships with oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, interventional radiologists, respiratory specialists and other healthcare providers. By fostering these relationships, they can better understand the challenges faced by healthcare professionals and work together to overcome them.
- Efficiently Go To Market_: The Regional Oncology Specialist will achieve BD financial goals by supporting HCPs in appropriate BDX device selection and treatment best practices, creating high quality patient outcomes

**Responsibilities**:

- Achievement of agreed sales targets for the BDI (Ports, CVC and Pleurex) and MDS range of infusion therapy and vascular access products.
- Establish, implement and review a territory plan including goals and specific actions.
- Effectively build and manage relationships with key customers along the continuum from end-users to c-suite.
- Ensure that we are meeting or exceeding expectations through a collaborative approach.
- Develop expertise in the clinical areas of Oncology by building and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of customer practices.
- Demonstrate the use and advantages of the BD Oncology solutions; conduct product training, demonstrations and validations with prospective customers.
- Ensure profitable opportunities are leveraged through professional Selling Skills including sales call planning, Strategic Selling, SFDC and Conversion management.
- Provide management with market insights which includes clinical practices, competitive activity, product assessment and industry trends.
- Maintain an accurate and current CRM database of all accounts including activities, opportunities, risks and customer contact details.
- Attend relevant industry trade shows, conferences and meetings as required.
- Maintain company property, including computer equipment, in good working condition and also in an image that reflects the professional standards of BD at all times.
- Ensure compliance with all Quality Management System and BD policies.
