We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audio-Visual Consultant to join our team at Stantec Australia. As a key member of our Smart Buildings section, you will contribute to the growth and success of our Centre of Excellence for Technologies in Buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Deliver AV Solutions: Take ownership of the design of AV solutions and produce tender documentation to meet client specifications.
- Collaborate with Clients: Liaise with clients to present design solutions, specifications, bill of materials, layouts, and other relevant information.
- Support Project Teams: Assist the projects tendering team and provide support during the construction phase of projects when required.
- Self-Review and Quality Assurance: Ensure internal service is excellent through self-review of own work and adherence to professional standards, ethics, and Stantec quality procedures.
- Education and Experience: Hold a Bachelor degree, diploma, or Cert 4 in IT or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years background in AV installation work or project management of AV installations.
- Certifications and Skills: Have or be prepared to get AVIXA CTS certification as well as CTS-D when appropriate, and design certified for at least one control solution and one digital transport system.
- Software and Tools: Work with Microsoft Office products, experience in working with Bluetooth, AutoCAD, and Revit, and interest in working with 3D reality presentation solutions.
- Personal Qualities: Positive, can-do attitude, strong work ethic, great communication and interpersonal skills.
