As a senior developer, you will drive the design and delivery of innovative solutions across our digital platforms, including MyAccount, Mobile App, Metering, and Customer Identity.

You will lead a team of developers and enhance customer experience and operational efficiency while collaborating with stakeholders to align technology with business goals.

  • You will stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies, hosting workshops and promoting best practices to drive organizational innovation.
  • You will lead strategic decisions to prioritize initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and customer impact while balancing immediate goals with long-term vision.
  • You will mentor and develop a high-performing technical team, fostering innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.
  • You will collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to align strategies with organizational objectives, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
  • You will establish and enforce best practices for secure, scalable systems, ensuring quality through test automation and robust design.

About This Role:

As a Lead Software Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to define and execute the vision and roadmap for Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and industry trends.

You will be responsible for driving seamless customer identity experiences and remaining competitive in the field.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience with Auth0 and/or other customer identity platforms.
  • Proven ability to architect and deliver complex RESTful or GraphQL APIs and automation for UI and API testing.
  • In-depth understanding of event-driven systems using tools such as SQS or Kafka.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of database architecture, optimization, and SQL, with experience scaling database solutions.
  • Mastery in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and deploying scalable applications on AWS.
  • Proficient in Git version control and leading GitHub-based collaboration at scale.
  • Strong leadership in Agile development, lean methodologies, and driving user-centric designs with HCD.
  • Exceptional communication, decision-making, and the ability to navigate and guide teams through uncertainty.
