Job Title: Senior Human Resources Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our Strategic People Partnership Team. As the first line of contact for our leaders and employees, you will be responsible for providing trusted coaching, insight, and support on various HR matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide high-quality HR advice to managers and employees on performance and misconduct matters, business restructuring, and change initiatives;">
  • Navigate complex awards, agreements, and policies to guide decisions that balance business needs with fair process;">
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with line managers and our People Services Team to ensure our workforce is supported with sound advice and strong HR practices;">
  • Interpret legislative change and provide guidance on its impact on our business.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

">
  • ">
  • Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain a Defence security clearance;">
  • A post-secondary qualification in Human Resources or an equivalent demonstrated relevant experience;">
  • Experience interpreting legislation, regulations, awards, and industrial agreements together with policy and procedures to provide high-quality and pragmatic HR advice;">
  • Excellent communication, consulting, and interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and proven ability in developing trusted business relationships at all levels.">
