As an Associate/Senior Associate in our Funds team, you will work closely with our Partners and lawyers to advise leading Australian and global fund managers on establishing new Australian funds, raising capital, and operating funds in Australia. You will also work on new product and business development, regulatory change projects, remediation activities, regulator engagement, compliance uplift, and ongoing strategic advice.
Your Responsibilities- Advise clients on establishing new Australian funds, raising capital, and operating funds in Australia.
- Work on new product and business development, regulatory change projects, remediation activities, regulator engagement, compliance uplift, and ongoing strategic advice.
- Collaborate with other practice groups, including M&A, regulatory disputes, and banking and finance, on matters involving funds and fund managers.
We are looking for an experienced lawyer with a passion for investment funds and a desire to specialise in this area. You will have a strong understanding of the funds industry and be able to provide expert advice to clients. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
