This role presents an opportunity for professional growth and development within the mental health care continuum.
Job DescriptionThe purpose of this position is to provide specialist psychiatric health services to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will be able to work within a multidisciplinary team, enhancing assessment and management of patients using a biopsychosociocultural framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with patients in various settings and across different age groups.
- Contribute to improving mental health care for Aboriginal people and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
To be eligible for this role, applicants must have been accepted into or applied for training by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) with less than 12 months of full-time equivalent psychiatry training completed.
Applicants must demonstrate a passion for mental health and a willingness to learn and grow in their career.
