Lead Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer to oversee a high-performing team of infrastructure engineers, ensuring operational excellence and effective incident response.

This is a critical leadership role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to mentor and develop team members.

About the Role
  • Lead and manage a team of infrastructure engineers, acting as the first point of contact for production incidents and requests.
  • Oversee the timely reporting and resolution of infrastructure outages and service failures, collaborating with vendors and site support teams.
  • Develop and maintain internal knowledge bases, and enhance support processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders to keep domain strategies relevant and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, promoting continuous learning and skill development.
  • Mentor and coach team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and expertise to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in leading high-performing teams, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent technical skills, with a deep understanding of workstation and server-based technologies.
  • Familiarity with Cisco and networking technologies, as well as IT security principles.
