A Competitive Salary

The successful candidate will be offered an hourly rate of $35-$45, commensurate with experience. This is an above award rate that reflects the company's commitment to valuing its employees' skills and dedication.

The Job Description

This permanent full-time position involves working as a Mower Operator, responsible for maintaining and enhancing green spaces across various commercial sites or council-controlled roadsides and open spaces. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.

  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are mowed to a high standard.

  • Assist with other groundskeeping tasks as needed.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field.

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

  • Valid Drivers Licence.

  • White Card.

  • Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
